Your Teaching is currently recruiting for two excellent Primary Teacher vacancies at a highly regarded and supportive primary school in Croydon.
We are seeking:
* KS1 Teacher (Year 2)
* KS2 Teacher (Year 6)
These are fantastic opportunities to join a welcoming school with strong leadership, engaged pupils, and a collaborative teaching environment. About the Role
As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and development.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
* Creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
* Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress
* Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting positive attitudes to learning
* Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
* Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
* Contributing to the wider life of the school community
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
* Experience teaching within either KS1 or KS2
* Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* Ability to plan, deliver, and assess lessons effectively
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Right to work in the UK
* Valid DBS on Update Service needed(or willing to obtain)
* Has to be available full-time (5 days a week)
Previous primary school teaching experience is essential. These positions are not suitable for candidates without classroom teaching experience in a UK primary school setting.
