Who are you?
* Qualified HGV Technician holds NVQ! Level 3 in HGV - apprenticeship or City & Guilds, with proven hands-on workshop experience.
* Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to inspire and coach others.
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
* Organised and proactive approach, with a strong focus on customer service.
* Flexible team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What will you do
The Role – some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
* Assist in the fault diagnosis process
* Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
* Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
* Assist with roadside breakdowns.
* Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
* Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
* Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well-maintained
* Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
