G4S Facilities Management is seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Cheltenham.
What We Offer
* Competitive Salary: £37, £39,575.76 per annum (with potential for allowances for Authorised Person duties)

About The Role
You will be responsible for providing a range of mechanical engineering services, including:
* Respond to defects, identify root causes, and undertake statutory and routine inspections of mechanical plant.
* Conduct all work to high standards, ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to SLA, KPIs, site policies, and Health and Safety regulations.
* Monitor and utilize PDA devices for service delivery.
* Identify and requisition materials for maintenance work orders.
* Proactively identify opportunities for continuous service improvement.
* Oversee and escort contractors, ensuring satisfactory work in line with risk assessments, method statements, and contract KPIs.
* Support a safe, clean, and healthy working environment.
* Develop and maintain client relationships.
* Adhere to corporate safety and security policies.
* Maintain a professional attitude and image.
Who We Are Looking For
* Essential:
* NVQ Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering
* Previous experience in a facilities management environment
* Microsoft Office proficiency
* Ability to obtain DV clearance
* Desirable:
* Mechanical to Electrical conversion course
* Refrigeration/Air Conditioning knowledge
* IPAF / PASMA
* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineerning
