We are lucky enough to be supporting a successful and growing business located in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, in their search for a qualified Group reporting Manager.
This is a solid oppurtunity for am ambitious and driven individual who is looking to climb the ladder and be a number two in finance.
You’ll play a key role within Group Finance, overseeing the month-end and reporting process, leading a small team, and driving accuracy, consistency, and insight across multiple entities. This is a great opportunity for a technically strong accountant who thrives on improving processes and influencing at a senior level.
What you’ll do:
* Own the month-end process and deliver accurate, timely management accounts for each entity and the consolidated group
* Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and coordinate external audits
* Maintain and enhance the group consolidation model, reporting packs, and management information
* Ensure robust controls and accounting policies are applied consistently across the business
* Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany adjustments, and cashflow management
* Support the budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing clear analysis and insight
* Partner with senior stakeholders to help them understand financial performance and key drivers
* Lead, motivate, and develop a small team to deliver high-quality outputs
* Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve systems and processes
To be successful:
* You’ll need to be a chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
* Experience in a similar role, ideally within a group or multi-entity environment
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
* Experience managing or mentoring others

* The salary for the role is paying between £70,000- £80,000 DOE.
