Ward J6 at North Manchester General Hospital is looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Housekeeper to join our team. This is a full-time position to support the department with housekeeping duties. The post holder will work from Monday to Friday (no weekends, no bank holidays).
We are seeking a person who is keen to work with our team, possesses good communication and organizational skills, and can ensure the smooth running of the unit. The post holder will work as an integral part of the team to uphold high standards on the unit.
As a Housekeeper, you will lead ward services such as catering, cleaning, equipment, and supplies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Talking to and reassuring patients
2. Ordering non-clinical supplies
3. Keeping the unit clean, tidy, and organized
4. Preparing snacks and drinks
5. Reporting faults and expiration dates of equipment
6. Clerical and administrative tasks
