Due to recognition of the continued opportunities for growth, a vacancy has arisen to join one of the leading law firms in Cornwall and Devon in the Commercial Property Team. An opening is available for a lawyer already established or interested in growing the firms presence for business services and specifically commercial property in the South West You will be working within an exciting team of 11 lawyers who have been earmarked as ‘one to watch’ in the most recent Legal 500 rankings. The Commercial Property Team at Coodes are experienced and well respected and many clients have long standing relationships with the firm and require assistance with their growing requirements and needs. The role itself will be supported by an experienced administration team alongside the wider Commercial Property and Business Services Lawyers. What you will do: Build relationships with our long-established clients and contacts Handle a variety of Commercial Property work primarily within the region with a wide range of clients to include local authorities, investors and developers in a variety of sectors including leisure, retail and development. In particular, we have seen an increase in demand in the rural and development sectors as well as refinance work across the board Explore opportunities for development both personally and within an experienced & supportive team with a genuine track record of internal promotion and growth Work within an enthusiastic team of 11 other Commercial Property Lawyers as well as support staff with a wealth of knowledge of the area Experience and Qualifications you need: Minimum 4 years PQE in Commercial Property Good communication skills You will love this role if: You have enthusiasm for working in the commercial property sector and want to join a team who are well established with a broad reach in the market and linked into the local community.
