Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Primary School based in Crewe who are currently looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support within the schools KS2 department. The ideal candidate will have a calm and empathetic approach to working with young people along with a strong background/knowledge in SEN. About the role: Start-date: 5 th January Ongoing/long-term role Full-time As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with SEN pupils who require additional learning, behavioural and social/emotional support. This will include general support within lessons, as well as 1-1 targeted intervention sessions. You will work closely with the Class Teachers to identify learning gaps and create/implement individualised learning plans. Additionally, you will regularly communicate with parents/carers and any third parties when necessary.
