JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £80 - £90 Per day Job Duties: Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and development Assisting classroom teachers in implementing individual education plans for SEN students Providing one-to-one support to SEN students as required Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Assisting with the personal care needs of SEN students, if necessary Required Qualifications: Valid DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) Experience working with children or young people with SEN Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different types of SEN and appropriate support strategies Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Additional training in supporting students with specific SEN requirements Working Conditions: Work primarily within a school setting May require some physical activity and assisting with personal care needs Collaboration with teachers, parents, and external professionals All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
