Whether its sketching initial concept ideas, creating scale clay models, developing the next generation of exterior, interior, CMF design, partnership product or using CGI Skills to produce stunning designs within the AML team are constantly shaping the future of the automotive industry and licensing products. Housed in state-of-the-art facilities in Gaydon, Warwickshire, our world class Design team create, quite simply, the most beautiful automotive art in the world. Job Purpose: Contribute into the team that lead the creative vision for collaborative projects with high-profile brands and partners across automotive, luxury, fashion, and lifestyle sectors. In this role, you will develop world-class designs that integrate Aston Martin’s legendary craftsmanship with cutting-edge innovation, ensuring all partnership projects uphold the brand’s identity and exclusivity. As a key creative force within AMP, you will shape bespoke products, co-branded special editions, and unique design experiences that extend Aston Martin’s influence beyond the automotive world. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and VIP clients to deliver exceptional design solutions that align with both Aston Martin’s heritage and the partner’s vision. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Actively contribute to the creative development of co-branded products, special edition vehicles (e.g. motorbikes and aircraft) and lifestyle collaborations, ensuring a seamless fusion of Aston Martin’s design DNA with partner brands. • Develop high-quality sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate and refine design concepts. • Collaborate with external luxury brands, suppliers, and strategic partners to push the boundaries of premium design. • Ensure all partnership projects meet Aston Martin’s rigorous quality, aesthetic, and innovation standards. • Present design concepts to senior leadership, partners, and VIP clients with confidence and storytelling expertise. • Oversee material selection, colour and trim specifications, and advanced design applications for bespoke projects. • Work closely with marketing and branding teams to ensure design consistency across all AMP collaborations. • Stay ahead of emerging trends in automotive, luxury, fashion, graphic and lifestyle industries to inspire future partnership opportunities. Experience and Qualifications Essential: • Extensive experience in luxury automotive design, bespoke projects, or high-end brand collaborations. • Exceptional skills in sketching, rendering, and 3D modelling (Alias, Blender, or equivalent software). • Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes for luxury products. • Experience working with external partners, high-net-worth clients, and VIP collaborations. • Ability to translate abstract brand visions into compelling, high-quality design concepts. • Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with experience delivering pitches to executives and external stakeholders. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automotive Design, Industrial Design, or a related field Preferred: • Passion for Aston Martin’s brand, craftsmanship, and innovation in luxury. • Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects in a fast-paced, creative environment. Skills and Behaviours: Good knowledge/Expert in all design software, CAD, Adobe creative suite, Alias Modelling or equivalents. Able to work independently yet must be a team player. Good understanding of industrialization process with good understanding in technical discussions. Creative thinker, using innovation to solve design problems. Excellent communication and confident with presenting skills Demonstration of ability through visual portfolio Organised and proactive, and able to deliver when in high pressured situations Additional Requirements: The role is studio-based full-time, with some domestic & overseas travel (must hold a passport) Physical Requirements: Be able to travel independently.
