Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established 6-bed children’s home in Ashford, Surrey, supporting young people aged 8–17 with learning disabilities. The Role
As Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance. You will lead and mentor the team, promote a culture of reflective practice, and ensure that the home provides a safe, stable, and enriching environment for all residents.
You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with Ofsted and the Children’s Homes Regulations, leading on inspections, managing budgets, and developing new initiatives to enhance service quality.
Key Requirements
*
Minimum 2 years’ management experience within a children’s residential setting
*
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
*
Strong understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
*
Proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
*
Experience supporting young people with learning disabilities
*
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to participate in on-call duties
