SEND & SEMH Education Roles – Horsham and Crawley Support Staff & Teaching Opportunities | West Sussex We are working closely with a range of SEND and SEMH schools across West Sussex, with a particular focus on Crawley and Horsham, and are looking to connect with passionate educators and support staff open to new opportunities. Rather than advertising a single vacancy, we support multiple specialist settings and recruit for a variety of SEND roles, allowing us to match individuals to schools where they can feel supported, confident, and successful. Available Roles Include: Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Classroom Support / SEND Support Worker roles SEND and SEMH Teaching positions Primary and Secondary SEND school placements Short-term, long-term, and permanent roles Opportunities are available across different settings, supporting children and young people with autism, SEMH, ADHD, and additional needs. Who We’re Looking For: This is a great opportunity if you: Have experience working with children or young people (education, care, youth work, mentoring, coaching, etc.) Are calm, patient, and resilient Can build positive relationships and adapt to different environments Are interested in working within SEND or SEMH education Want flexibility or a long-term role within specialist education Previous SEND or SEMH experience is beneficial but not essential. Many schools provide ongoing training and support — attitude and commitment are key. Pay & Benefits: Support staff salaries range from £21,000–£26,000 per annum, depending on role and experience Teaching roles are paid to scale Roles available across Crawley, Horsham, and surrounding areas Immediate starts and upcoming vacancies Ongoing support from a consultant with SEND education experience Requirements: Right to work in the UK A child-only DBS (support provided if you need to apply) Interested?
