The role
Our client, a well-established and growing warehousing and distribution business in the South West, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their busy and friendly team on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern in Radstock, Somerset.
Please note: Applicants must hold a valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence and be within a reasonable commuting distance of the site.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and storage facilities
Receiving and processing incoming deliveries
Checking goods for damage, discrepancies, or missing items
Moving and handling stock manually and using warehouse equipment
Container unloading and de-stuffing
Loading and unloading trailers for deliveries and collections
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Adhering to all health and safety procedures
Requirements
Previous warehouse experience is essential
Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (in-house certifications accepted)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Bendi Truck licence desirable but not essential, as training can be provided
