The EFL is looking for an enthusiastic and organized Player Administration Assistant to join our Player Administration Team. The role involves assisting with data collation and processing, liaising with clubs regarding non-first team match sheets, trialists for category 3 & 4 academies, and scholar work experience applications.
Job Purpose
Responsible for data collation and processing, player registration applications for clubs, and providing general support to the department.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administer team sheet submissions from clubs and referees for all non-first team matches in EFL competitions.
2. Support and advise stakeholders on non-first team team sheets.
3. Process trialist forms on the Football Administration System (FAS) for category 3 & 4 academies.
4. Respond to correspondence related to trialists and scholar work experience applications.
5. Assist with registration of scholars during transfer windows.
6. Manage the Player Administration Team inbox, ensuring timely responses.
7. Provide system support and generate reports on player eligibility.
8. Maintain and develop relevant systems, including the Club portal system.
9. Coordinate with clubs to ensure timely and complete documentation submission.
10. Support academy registration processes during transfer periods.
