Cirencester
Fire & Flow Coffee Roasters
£18,000 - £22,000 a year
Posted: 1 October
Offer description

Weekend availability is essential

About us:

We're a fast-growing speciality coffee roastery, based in the Cotswold countryside, just outside of Cirencester. We work closely with our countrywide partners, predominantly independent coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, and food service groups to help them serve the highest quality coffee to their customers.

2024 was an exciting year for us, as we have taken on a new unit, doubling the size of our existing roastery, whilst significantly increasing the number of covers in our roastery coffee shop. We have also launched a new and exciting brunch offering.

The Role:

At Fire and Flow, we're looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support both our kitchen team and floor staff, helping things run smoothly from prep to plate to table.

Whether you're helping to prep dishes, keeping the kitchen spotless, or checking in with guests, this is a varied, hands-on role that's ideal for someone who's adaptable, eager to learn, and enjoys being part of a close, friendly team.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Assisting with basic kitchen prep and keeping workspaces clean and organised
* Helping with food running—delivering dishes, clearing tables, and resetting for the next guests
* Supporting the team during busy service with flexibility and focus
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across the kitchen and front-of-house areas
* Engaging with guests and ensuring they feel welcomed and well looked after
* Jumping in wherever needed to keep things flowing

What We're Looking For:

* A friendly, reliable person who's happy working behind the scenes and front of house
* Someone who takes pride in a job well done—whether that's a spotless kitchen or a beautifully cleared table
* A quick learner who stays calm and positive under pressure
* Great communicator and natural team player
* No experience needed—just a good work ethic and a willingness to get stuck in
* Must be available for weekend shifts

Perks and Benefits:

* On-the-job training across both kitchen and front-of-house roles
* Free staff drinks and generous discounts
* Opportunities to grow with a young brand that values input and initiative
* A fun, welcoming workplace with a strong team spirit
* Competitive hourly pay based on experience
