We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Head of Pastoral to join our senior leadership team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the pastoral care and well-being of our students, ensuring a safe, supportive, and positive school environment. You will work closely with staff, students, and parents to promote a culture of respect, resilience, and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the pastoral care team, providing guidance and support to staff and students.
* Develop and implement effective pastoral policies and procedures.
* Monitor and support the well-being and mental health of students.
* Foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
* Liaise with parents, guardians, and external agencies to support student welfare.
* Oversee the management of student behavior and discipline.
* Organize and lead pastoral training and professional development for staff.
* Contribute to the strategic development of the school as a member of the senior leadership team.

* Proven experience in a pastoral leadership role within an educational setting.
* Strong understanding of pastoral care and safeguarding practices.
