Are you currently studying or have you successfully completed a mechanical engineering degree or have some technical knowledge and are looking for an entry-level position?
You will support the Print Manager in a busy environment on all Digital Print activities in the print room.
Variation of Role - (Training Given)
1. Assisting in the process of orders
2. Preparing and making plates for Rotary letterpress
3. Printing Rotary letterpress jobs as per production spec
4. Printing Thermal and Digital - Tags/Stickers as per production spec
5. Quality checking all orders
6. Cutting and folding care labels as per production spec
7. Despatching finished items through to despatch off Navision
8. Assisting in the month-end stock check/ordering consumables
9. Maintaining all machinery to a high standard of working order
10. Daily safety checks on all machinery
11. Checking everyday stock levels/rotation
Because you will be joining a small team, I need your can-do and problem-solving approach to ensure our Digital Print operation runs smoothly.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally operating digital printing machinery or current machine operator or recent mechanical graduate
