Job Description
* Provide efficient service for guest registration and departure; maintain accurate guest accounts and provide helpful information.
* Attend to all incoming calls via the switchboard professionally, striving to provide Total Customer Satisfaction.
* Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.
* Handle credit and cash transactions securely, and ensure confidentiality/privacy of guest information.
* Maintain communication channels between hotel guests and all departments, verbally and in writing as required.
* Operate the switchboard effectively, handling calls promptly and professionally, greeting callers according to policy, and transferring calls efficiently.
* Document all internal and guest messages accurately and distribute them according to hotel procedures.
* Maintain an accurate internal phone list for call transfers and record charges for international and operator-assisted calls.
* Assist in screening calls for reservations, providing accurate and up-to-date information.
* Promote hotel facilities and maximize sales through sound product knowledge and selling skills.
* Attend to other duties as requested by management and supervisors.
Qualifications
* Some experience in retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing role.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills.
* A positive, can-do attitude.
