Software Business Development Executive - Heatpunk
We're seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our software team and lead the growth of Heatpunk, our innovative heat pump design software.

About the Role
As a Software Business Development Executive, your focus will be on driving adoption of Heatpunk, our heat pump system design software. You will build relationships with accredited heat pump installers, demonstrating how Heatpunk can save time and money while simplifying installations. Your responsibilities include:
1. Outreach and sales
o Cold calling accredited heat pump installers to introduce Heatpunk.
o Sending impactful sales emails and managing follow-ups.
o Presenting software demos via video calls or webinars.
o Introducing users to our Pro and enterprise software subscriptions.
2. Customer training and support
o Running engaging training webinars for new users.
o Providing ongoing support to maximize Heatpunk’s value.
3. Administrative support
o Updating the CRM with customer interactions and maintaining records.
o Collaborating on sales and marketing materials with the team.
o Gaining a deep understanding of Heatpunk, heat pump systems, and customer needs.
o Staying informed about industry trends and competitors.
You will report to the Head of Software Sales and collaborate with the team to promote our innovative heat pump design software.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:
* Is enthusiastic and eager to learn: Passionate about renewable energy and technology, with a desire to grow in business development.
* Enjoys making connections: Comfortable engaging via phone, email, or video calls, including cold calling.
* Is detail-oriented and organized: Skilled at following processes, maintaining accurate records, and managing administrative tasks.
* Has strong communication skills: Able to write clear emails and explain complex ideas simply.
* Is motivated by goals and targets: Driven to achieve sales and performance objectives, with potential to grow over time.
Bonus points for:
* Experience in customer-facing roles, especially sales or customer service.
* Background or interest in renewable energy or software.

What We Offer

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 with a performance bonus up to £5,000.
