Based at Moycroft in Elgin, may be required to cover other duties at various depots
Responsibilities
Operate and be responsible for Street Sweeping/Refuse Collection vehicles and any other vehicle allocated
Responsibility for the operation and service of the round
General cleansing duties To ensure the highest standards of Health and Safety are applied
The Individual
HGV Licence
Experience in an HGV driving post
Must be literate and able to act on instructions
Able to work on own under instruction and as part of team
Able to understand and act on instruction
Able to supervise crew
Able to communicate with members of the public
Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the practice of good team working Willingness to accept direction/delegation
Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs and demands of the service
Ability to bend and stretch in order to uplift waste and recyclable materials
Ability to work in all weather conditions

Starting salary: £28,244.32
£14.68 per hour

Working pattern: Mon-Fri 37 hrs per week, plus 2 hrs OT maintenance per week
