The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the department's operations, often working under pressure and managing multiple priorities. You will need to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, the ability to work independently, and a flexible approach to changing demands.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for deliveringconfidential and comprehensive administrative supportto the EPRR and Special Operations team. Key daily duties include:
* Providing a welcoming and professional point of contactfor internal and external enquiries, ensuring a helpful and friendly service that reflects the department's corporate image.
* Managing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and documentation, with discretion and efficiency.
* Maintaining accurate records and filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, in line with organisational policies.
* Supporting meetings and events by preparing agendas, taking minutes, and circulating papers in good time.
* Handling multiple tasks and priorities, often under pressure, while ensuring deadlines are met and workloads are balanced.
* Working independently within defined policies and procedures, and responding to tasks assigned by the EPRR and Special Operations Coordinator or Senior Management Team.
* Contributing to a resilient and robust administrative function, helping the department operate smoothly and effectively.
This role requires someone who is organised, adaptable, and confident in managing competing demands in a busy environment.
