Day-to-day of the role:
* Deliver engaging and informative biology lessons across different educational levels: GCSE, BTEC, and A Level.
* Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards.
* Assess and evaluate students’ progress in biology through assignments, tests, and examinations.
* Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience.
* Stay updated with the latest educational trends and integrate new teaching methods into daily practices.
* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Must hold a degree in Biology or a closely related field.
* Previous teaching experience in the UK is essential.
* A teaching qualification is highly desirable, although not mandatory.
* Strong understanding of the biology curriculum across GCSE, BTEC, and A Level.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
