The Role
As a Housekeeper at Thomas Henshaw Court, you will play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across residents’ homes and shared communal areas. Your work will help create a pleasant, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone who lives and visits the scheme.
You will ensure cleaning products are used correctly and safely, following all instructions, health and safety guidance, and procedures at all times.
Required Knowledge & Experience
1. A Customer Service NVQ2 would be advantageous.
2. Previous cleaning experience and knowledge is desirable.
3. Safe and effective use of cleaning products.
4. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment, such as carpet cleaners.
5. Understanding of data protection, confidentiality, and safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
6. Awareness of health and safety in the workplace, including COSHH.
Required Skills
7. Well organised with good time management skills.
8. Friendly and approachable, with strong interpersonal and empathy skills.
9. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Ability to prioritise tasks and plan around residents’ needs.
