Employer Engagement Manager
Salary: £40,523 - £43,648 per annum

Make a real difference in Worcestershire. We’re looking for a motivated, people‑centred individual to help drive employer engagement for our DWP Connect to Work programme. You’ll play a key role in championing the programme by building strong, positive relationships with local employers, creating opportunities such as jobs, apprenticeships and work experience placements, and promoting inclusive recruitment practices across Worcestershire. You’ll collaborate with partners including the Worcestershire Growth Hub and the DWP, helping to make Worcestershire a place where everyone can access good employment.
Main Activities & Responsibilities
* Lead employer engagement for the Connect to Work programme, developing and delivering a business engagement plan aligned with programme targets.
* Build strong, long‑term relationships with employers across Worcestershire and create opportunities including vacancies, apprenticeships and work experience that support participants into sustainable employment.
* Model high‑quality account management and represent Connect to Work at business forums and networking events, promoting supported employment, inclusive recruitment and workforce diversity.
* Collaborate with the wider team to support employer engagement, facilitate training for employers, maintain accurate CRM records, support networking events, manage team members and contribute to partnership events and cross‑team working.
* Passion for helping others succeed and enjoy building strong relationships.
