This specialist school is seeking passionate and proactive individuals to join their team as Trainee SEN Teachers, supporting autistic pupils through evidence:based teaching, structured learning and a highly therapeutic approach. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, staff are supported by Behaviour Analysts, Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists to help every child reach their full potential.

Supporting students through personalised programmes focused on communication, independence and emotional development, this setting offers an exceptional opportunity for Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants and Nursery Practitioners looking to build a long:term career within SEND education.

Position Details:
* Position: Trainee SEN Teacher
*Term Time Only
* Monday: Friday 08:45:4:45pm
* Location: Dunsfold Park, Cranleigh, Surrey
* Part:time options available
* Salary: GBP23,000

Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small class basis
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons focused on communication and life skills
* Supporting social, emotional and behavioural development
* Working collaboratively with Behaviour Analysts, Therapists and teaching staff
* Helping students build independence and confidence
* Maintaining a calm, positive and structured learning environment

Requirements:
* Experience supporting children or individuals with disabilities
* GCSE English and Maths Grade C/4 or equivalent
* Calm and resilient approach under pressure
* Positive, proactive and professional attitude
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
* Passion for supporting autistic children and young people
* Eligibility to work in the UK
