About Us:
We are a friendly and professional Home Care organisation seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator / Finance Assistant to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and is confident communicating with colleagues, customers, and suppliers alike.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Input and update data accurately onto our bespoke internal system.
* Produce and issue weekly invoices.
* Process incoming payments and support debt chasing activities.
* Maintain efficient and up-to-date office filing systems.
* Enter invoices and purchase orders into SAGE accounting software.
* Create and distribute financial documents such as statements and remittance advice notes.
* Monitor and maintain stock levels to ensure smooth operations.
* Take minutes during internal and external meetings.
* Create and maintain accurate customer and carer files.
* Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers both in person and via phone/email.
* Handle incoming calls, fielding and directing queries appropriately.
* Produce professional letters, reports, and other documents as required.
* Manage outgoing post and general administrative duties.
Essential Requirements:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Educated to a minimum of GCSE level (Maths, English, IT) or equivalent higher education.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and use initiative in a fast-paced environment.
* Friendly and approachable with a positive attitude; comfortable meeting and greeting at all levels.
* Demonstrates the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
Desirable:
* Experience using SAGE One accounting software.
