Whatthe opportunity looks like:
Theproject engineer (Mechanical) will be responsible for the deliveryof assigned Capital Projects within Whyte and Mackay (Distilling).They will be required to follow the engineering governancerequirements which will include elements of writing tenderdocuments obtaining quotations adhering to and producing budgetsworking alongside procurement and legal to agree contracts andmanage design/ delivery installation and commissioning of theprojects all in line with the businessrequirements.
To provide mechanical engineeringsupport to the Invergordon Dalmore Jura Tamnavulin and FettercairnDistillery production sites on improvement projects and maintenanceactivities where required.
Working alongsideproduction and other engineers must be able to define a problemthen scope design and deliver a safe costeffective solution. Youwill be required to work on own or as part of a team depending ontask. As well as creation of documentation and appraise proposalsfor work through our Safe Systems of Work to ensure a safe andsustainable environment.
* Collect andanalyse production data to measure efficiencies to increasevolume.
* Write engineering specificationstechnical and tender documentation.
* Developappropriate engineering solutions to suit businessrequirements.
* Working with production tounderstand the issues which are constraining production and lead onprojects/modification to address.
* Providesuitable design solutions ensuring the safest practicable option isselected.
Skills andexperience that will help you be asuccess:
For this role werelooking for:
* Previousexperience within a similarrole.
* Experience managingengineeringprojects.
* Qualification ina relevant engineeringsubject.
* Full drivinglicense.
