Summary
We are seeking dedicated a Reablement Homecare Worker based in Beccles+Bungay to join our compassionate team at Cavell Healthcare. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals in their daily lives, promoting independence and well-being while delivering personalized care.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support to individuals in their own homes.
* Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
* Encourage independence by promoting self-care and decision-making among service users.
* Build trusting relationships with clients and their families through effective communication and empathy.
* Accurately document care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate personnel.
* Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and families.
* A compassionate approach with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of clients.
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Shift patterns:
Week 1:
Monday: 4pm-10pm
Tuesday: 4pm-10pm
Saturday: 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm (split shift)
Sunday: 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm (split shift)
Week 2:
Monday: 4pm-10pm
Tuesday: 7am-2pm
Wednesday: 7am-2pm
Thursday: 7am-2pm
Friday: 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm (split shift)
Rates of pay
* £12.72 during the week
* £13.78 at weekends
* £15.90 bank holidays
* Paid travel time
* Paid mileage
