The Supply Chain Manager at Geoquip Marine focuses on developing and enhancing relations and account conditions with existing suppliers, as well as seeking out and evaluating new suppliers to enhance efficiency and support Company growth. A key responsibility includes the development, implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to maintain an organised stock list of equipment parts and spares. The role includes the identification of opportunities for reducing procurement expenses, allowing the Company to invest in growth initiatives and personnel. The Supply Chain Manager leads strategic procurement initiatives to ensure the efficient and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services for our Company. This role includes the management of a team of procurement and logistics professionals, fostering robust supplier relationships and making significant contributions to the overall success and expansion of the company. Additionally, they will actively contribute to budget development and management for specific projects and provide support in project management when necessary.
