About the Role: Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis in and out of the classroom. Build trusting relationships with children, helping them feel safe and valued. Work closely with class teachers, therapists, and external professionals. Use de-escalation strategies and consistent routines to support emotional regulation. Encourage pupil voice and celebrate progress – no matter how small. What We're Looking For: A calm, empathetic, and patient approach. Experience of working with children with SEMH needs. Knowledge of trauma-informed practice or a willingness to learn. Flexibility, teamwork, and a sense of humour! Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential – training can be provided).
