The Role
We're looking for an organised Junior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our team and take charge of quoting for both our maintenance division and larger works projects. You will produce a high volume of quotes, source materials, and help ensure jobs are profitable and well-managed. You will also play a key role in improving our current quoting systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate and timely quotes for maintenance jobs and larger refurbishment projects.
* Review and improve our existing quoting process and documentation.
* Source and order materials at the best value.
* Monitor costs and margins on ongoing projects.
* Liaise with clients and the internal team to clarify job scopes and manage expectations.
* Handle contract documentation, terms, and agreements in line with legal and commercial standards.
* Assist in resolving any pricing-related or contractual disputes quickly and professionally.
* Provide variations, valuations, and support with payment applications.

Required Skills & Experience
* Experience as a Junior Quantity Surveyor or Estimator (maintenance, refurb, or construction background).
* Comfortable handling a high volume of estimates with strong attention to detail.
* Confident in improving systems and ways of working.
* Strong commercial understanding and good negotiation skills.
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including with clients.
* Proficient in Excel and/or estimating software.
Location
Based in Loughborough Junction, London.
Hours
Monday to Friday: 7.30am – 4.30pm
Salary
£25,000 – £35,000 DOE
