The Role

You will gain exposure to an excellent standard of work across a myriad of sectors including a range of innovative energy technologies, infrastructure, utilities, healthcare, engineering, commercial developments, PFI/PPP, transport, and much more.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Apply excellent legal skills to analyse and solve issues pragmatically.
2. Advising clients on contractual obligations and disputes.
3. Experience of large-scale court actions.
4. Providing pre-dispute advice, assessing the strength of positions, and undertaking dispute avoidance activities including arbitration, mediation, and adjudication.
5. Advising on project continuity and documenting settlements and agreements.
As a senior member of the team, you will also be encouraged to get involved in business development activities and support the professional development of other team members.

The Ideal Candidate
1. Is an experienced construction lawyer with at least 5 years of relevant PQE.
2. Possesses strong technical legal knowledge and current expertise in construction law.
3. Can manage a varied caseload and work with diverse clients.
4. Has excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with colleagues and clients.
5. Is commercially aware and knowledgeable about the current construction law landscape.
