Salary:
Starting salary is £35,235, rising to £37,938 (pro rata for part-time) depending on experience and PQ accreditation. See below for levels:
1. Social Worker Level 1 – Newly qualified, eligible for the ASYE programme: £31,586-£34,314
2. Social Worker Level 2 – ASYE completed within the last 12 months, building experience: £35,235-£37,938
3. Social Worker Level 3 – Experienced with at least 12 months post-ASYE: £39,513-£42,708
4. Social Worker Level 4 – Advanced Social Worker with AMHP, BIA, or Practice Educator status: £44,711-£47,754

About the Role
Join Nottingham City Council as a Social Worker to support adults in need, focusing on homelessness and housing issues. You will work across Adult Social Care and Housing, providing assessments, support planning, safeguarding, and risk management, within a person-centred, strength-based approach.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Professional Social Work Qualification and registration with Social Work England
* Experience working with adults, understanding homelessness and related issues
* Strong assessment skills, including risk and mental capacity assessments
* Ability to work effectively across sectors and build partnerships
A DBS check is required.
