Driver Hire Sudbury are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Refuse lorry driver, for an immediate start.
We are seeking, experienced and reliable HGV drivers to work with one of our clients operating dustcart / bin lorry collection vehicles in the Sudbury area.
Job Details:
1. Pay rate: £16.64 per hour
2. 06.30am – 15.00pm, 30min unpaid break
3. 40hrs per week, overtime after 15.30 (time and a half)
4. Monday to Friday
5. Ongoing and ad hoc work available
6. Immediate start
7. Weekly pay
The Role:
8. Driving and operating refuse / recycling collection, dustcart vehicles
9. Working as part of a collection team on residential or commercial routes
10. Ensuring collections are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule
11. Carrying out daily vehicle checks
12. Following all health & safety procedures
Requirements:
13. Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
14. CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
15. Previous refuse or dustcart experience advantageous but not essential
16. Good understanding of safety procedures
17. Reliable and team-focused attitude
