 
        
        Salary: £21,122 – £21,831 pro rata based on an FTE Salary of £24,426 – £25,246 per annum
Cardiff and Vale College are looking for a Digital Success Centre Assistant based within our City Centre Campus with the expectation to cover other campuses as needed. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for researching, supporting, and promoting digital technologies within the Success Centres (libraries) and across the curriculum.
Responsibilities
 * Supporting learners and staff within the Success Centres in their use of the resources and facilities.
 * Promoting the use of e‑books and other digital tools within the Success Centres and in the classroom.
 * Contributing to the use of mobile technologies e.g. developing the use of social media and emerging software applications.
 * Providing excellent customer service to all users of the Success Centres.
 * Conducting Success Centre tours to new students.
 * Managing the environment and behaviour to ensure the learning space is appropriate for all users.
You should possess a relevant qualification either to Level 3 (NVQ Level 3, A Level) and a minimum of Maths and English GCSE, grades A to C. An IT qualification at Level 2 is also desirable for this post.
Welsh language skills are not essential but would be desirable for this role.
