Job Purpose:
The Crushing and Screening Fitter is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing crushing and screening equipment used in construction, mining, and quarry operations. This includes troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to ensure efficient operation and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery, repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, troubleshoot faults.
2. Installation & Commissioning: Assist in installing and commissioning new equipment, ensuring compliance with standards.
3. Safety & Compliance: Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations, conduct risk assessments.
4. Equipment Inspection & Reporting: Conduct inspections, complete reports, and maintain maintenance records.
5. Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Respond to breakdowns, work with engineers to resolve complex issues.
6. Customer Interaction: Provide technical support and training to site personnel.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience: Minimum 3 years in maintenance and repair of crushing and screening machinery, preferably in mining, quarry, or construction industries.
* Technical Skills: Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, ability to interpret technical diagrams, proficient with diagnostic tools.
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field, relevant health and safety certifications preferred, valid driver's license.
* Physical Requirements: Ability to work in challenging environments, physically fit for manual labor.
* Personal Skills: Problem-solving, teamwork, communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with specific brands or types of equipment.
