We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential for this role.
Duties
* Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and making timely payments.
* Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurately reflected across the organisation.
* Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
* Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is required.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
