Full Time 30 Hours Per Week

Fully Flexible – Including Weekends

We are looking for a skilled2nd Chef to prepare delicious meals according to the menu. You will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery.

An excellent Chef must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important.

The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele.

Demonstrated knowledge of culinary techniques and practices. Strong leadership abilities. Ongoing awareness of culinary trends. Understanding of health and sanitation laws. Excellent knife-handling skills. Understanding of menu and recipe development techniques

Skills needed:

* Experience of working in a busy kitchen.
* Creative at making dishes but also able to work to specs.
* Experience of cooking carvery is an advantage.
* Knowledge of HACCP.
* Able to manage multiple orders.
* Professionalism and reliability.
* Remain calm under pressure.
* Good time management.
* Level 2 basic food hygiene is an advantage.

Duties include:

* Lead, mentor and manage culinary team.
* Develop and plan menus and specials.
* Create prep lists for kitchen crew.
* Manage food and costing and inventory.
* Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.
* Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations.
* Participate in interview process and selection of kitchen staff.
* Schedule staff and assist in human resource processes as needed.
* Establish maintenance and cleaning schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas,
