Overview
Your mission as the Field Service Engineer is to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. Responsibilities
* Represent Atlas Copco on-site with professionalism and a customer-first approach
* Install, service, and troubleshoot air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and related equipment
* Diagnose technical faults and deliver expert repairs with safety and efficiency
* Use digital tools to log service activity, maintain up-to-date records, and report on performance
* Participate in our on-call schedule and support urgent service needs when required
* Attend live training and regular team sessions to keep your knowledge and skills sharp
* Act as a brand ambassador and identify opportunities for continuous improvement or added value
* Contribute to a culture of collaboration, safety, and innovation across the wider service team
Qualifications and Requirements
* Hands-on experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or engineering roles, including troubleshooting and maintenance
* Relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications, or equivalent practical experience
* Comfortable with standard IT applications and quick to adopt new digital tools and systems for service management
* Valid UK driving licence with a good driving record (no more than 3 points)
* Adaptability, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong safety mindset in a fast-moving work environment
* Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach and enthusiasm for resolving technical challenges

Location
You will be part of our customer center in Hemel Hempstead. You will join a dynamic field service team, working remotely and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area, Southeast UK.
