Warehouse Operative/Machine Operator
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Overtime paid at time and a half)
Type: Temporary to permanent for the right candidate
Location: Billericay CM12 (Accessible by public transport, close to train station)
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting 2x Production Operatives who will also cover warehouse duties when required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, dynamic site with room for progression.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the production plan by preparing and providing raw materials on time, adhering to GDP, GMP, and food safety standards.
* To help control costs effectively by reducing waste and ensuring efficient production processes without any contamination incidents.
* Accurately weigh raw materials.
* Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders.
* Investigate stock counts and resolve queries.
* Prepare packaging materials for production use.
* Comply with Health & Safety policies and report any accidents, incidents, or hazards promptly.
* Maintain good housekeeping and hygiene standards, including clean as you go practices.
* Process paperwork accurately and timely.
Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience working in production (preferred).
* Be reliable, hardworking, and flexible.
* Have good attention to detail and work well independently and as part of a team.
* Have strong numeracy skills.
* Be committed to health and safety standards.
