As Assistant Shop Manager, you’ll support the Shop Manager and lead a dedicated team of volunteers to boost profits and deliver an exceptional shopping experience. PDSA is a wonderfully diverse charity, and part of your role will be to proudly represent our brand, raise awareness of our mission, and encourage both item and cash donations from the local community.
The role of Assistant Shop Manager will:
* Work closely with the Shop Manager to maximise profit by ensuring a great retail experience, strong brand messaging, efficient stock rotation.
* Coach a team of volunteers, to be the best they can be encouraging new ideas and ways of doing things
* Champion continuous improvement by regularly analysing KPIs and performance data to identify what’s working and where we can grow
* Share your passion for PDSA with every customer, helping to spread awareness of our vital work
You’ll be joining us on a temporary basis, working 14 hours a week for three months.
About you
You will have:
* Retail or customer service experience
* Natural leadership skills with the ability to energise and motivate others
* A strong understanding of how to deliver outstanding customer experiences
