We are currently recruiting for an EO1 based in Bangor. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork, ANI clearance has been completed.

Duration: 6 months with a possibility of extension
Rate of pay: £17.43
Hours of work: 9 to 5 Mon- Fri
Key Responsibilities:
The role is to provide administrative support for (i) the development and implementation of an Early Learning and Childcare Strategy (ELCS) and (ii) a suite of targeted Early Years programmes.
Key responsibilities will include:
ELCS
• Support and assist line management with the development of the Executive ELCS; this will include analysis, collation and presentation of responses to the consultation on the draft strategy.
• Input to the development of implementation plans for an agreed ELCS.
• Engagement with colleagues and other government departments.
• Secretariat to the ELCS Stakeholder Engagement Forumandformal consultation events.
• Contribute to monitoring of ELC budgets and other administrative processes.
• Provide initial drafts of official correspondence/ briefings etc.
Early Years programmes
• Contribute to the strategic policy development of Sure Start, Pathway Fund, Toybox and Core funding in line with ELCS direction.
• Support and contribute to meetings with delivery agents and provide / oversee secretarial support.
• Contribute to Business Cases and Post-Project Evaluations.
• Direct, oversee and manage all required administrative duties.
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
Proof of 5 GCSEs English and Maths grade C or above or the equivalent to this and 2 A-levels
Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to use own initiative.
