The estimated base salary range for this role is $72,000 to $105,000 per year. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors.


What You’ll Be Doing – Project Management for Custom Projects

* Manage medium to large custom projects to achieve cost, margin, schedule, performance, and quality targets.
* Oversee project execution from order receipt through shipment and invoicing.
* Manage project risks to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize claims.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project documentation and files.
* Manage customer communication throughout the lifecycle of the project.
* Lead the change order management process.
* Provide leadership to the project team—including CAD designers, project coordinators, and order preparation teams.
* Ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness of the submittal process.
* Manage the flow of project information between customers and internal teams.
* Identify project risks and recommend corrective actions.
* Coordinate with suppliers to ensure mock‑ups are completed before production.
* Oversee preparation and routing of approval packages and required sign‑offs.
* Utilize Newforma project management software to track project progress and communications.


Business & Sales Support

* Partner with the Sales team to develop value‑engineered solutions that meet customer budgets.
* Support the bidding and quotation process for custom specialty ceiling solutions.
* Participate in sales calls to provide technical expertise on products and installation.
* Provide technical education and support to internal and external customers.
* Assist with on‑site technical support for installation or claim‑related issues.
* Use Oasis takeoff software to create project takeoffs.
* Collaborate with architects, contractors, and distributors to review project requirements.
* Interpret architectural drawings and design requirements.
* Partner with vendors to identify technical solutions and product options.
* Create pricing strategies to maximize project margins.
* Coordinate with operations teams to ensure quotations are accurate and delivered on time.

Qualifications

* Associate’s degree required, ideally in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
* Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related technical field.
* 5–10 years of project management experience, ideally in construction or a related industry.
* Knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to read architectural drawings.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Strong mathematical abilities including margin calculations, square‑footage calculations, and cost analysis.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


What Makes You Stand Out

* Experience working in the construction or building materials industry.
* Familiarity with estimating, blueprint reading, and the construction bidding process.
* Experience using Newforma project management software.
* Experience using Oasis takeoff software.
* Experience collaborating with architects, contractors, and design teams on complex custom projects.
* Ability to identify value engineering opportunities to improve cost, performance, or lead time.

Travel varies depending on project assignments but is typically less than 10% and may include visits to job sites, customers, vendors, or training events.
