Business Analyst – SAP Data Archiving
Location: Hybrid (1 day per week on-site in Worcester)

About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with proven experience in SAP Data Archiving to support a critical data optimisation initiative. This role is instrumental in helping the organisation streamline its SAP data landscape, improve system performance, and ensure compliance with data retention policies.
The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, Compliance, SAP technical teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define processes, and ensure successful implementation of SAP data archiving strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and facilitate workshops to capture detailed business requirements related to SAP data archiving.
* Analyse current data volumes, system performance, and data lifecycle management processes.
* Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to design an appropriate data archiving strategy.
* Document as-is and to-be business processes and system interactions.
* Assist in defining retention policies and mapping business data objects for archiving.
* Provide clear and concise documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, and test cases.
* Support testing, validation, and user acceptance activities related to the archiving processes.
* Ensure alignment with compliance, legal, and regulatory data retention requirements.
