This role will provide strategic and analytical support across the supply chain, including inventory, planning, supplier management, and logistics, while leading a small team to ensure operational excellence. This role ensures accurate MRP-driven inventory planning, efficient warehouse operations, reliable dispatch and invoicing, and best-practice inventory management to support customer demand and operational performance. What you’ll be doing as our Supply Chain Analyst Lead and develop a small supply chain team, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management Analyse demand, inventory, and supplier performance to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities Maintain and optimise MRP-driven inventory levels across the business Support warehouse and logistics processes, including internal material flow, dispatch, and OTIF delivery Produce and present supply chain performance dashboards and reports to senior leadership Collaborate with Production, Planning, Sales, and Procurement to align priorities and manage risks Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes and systems Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards The Skills, Knowledge and Experience you will need as our Supply Chain Analyst Proven experience in supply chain analysis, planning, or logistics within manufacturing or automotive environments Line management experience – leading and developing a small team Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) Knowledge of inventory management, planning processes, and supplier performance metrics Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and communicate effectively at all levels What we’ll give you in return Competitive salary 25 days annual leave bank holidays Extra day annual leave for your birthday An autonomous working environment with clear accountability Opportunities for internal progression and career development Death-in-service benefit scheme Access to a confidential employee assistance programme Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8am – 5pm, Friday: 8am – 2:30pm Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
