Position: Marketing Communications & Content Specialist (Poland)
Location: Milton Keynes with hybrid working opportunities
Job type: Full time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday)
Reporting to: UK+ Content & Communication Manager
About the role: Working within the UK+ marketing team, the Marketing & Communications and Content Specialist (Poland) is responsible for delivering global brand content and creating localized communications for the Polish market. This includes adapting, translating, and proofreading global and EU content, as well as producing original material that showcases our brands, stories, and products to B2B, B2C, and internal audiences. The role supports the communication strategy in Poland to build awareness of the Trek, Diamant, and Bontrager brands, grow and engage audiences, and drive website traffic and revenue. Responsibilities include managing paid campaigns on Meta and Google, executing email communications, supporting internal marketing, creating content for social media and blogs, and coordinating local photo and video shoots.
The ideal candidate is creative, adaptable, analytical, confident in managing multiple projects, and possesses strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Responsibilities
* Act as the local language specialist for all marketing activities, ensuring content supports global and local strategies and achieves engagement goals. Own the content calendar for Poland.
* Generate original, engaging local content in Polish for B2B, B2C, media communications, and channels based on current trends and target audience interests.
* Collaborate with PR, media, retail marketing, and digital teams to identify opportunities and create content that builds brand awareness, loyalty, and drives traffic and revenue.
* Ensure brand voice, content, and standards are consistently maintained.
* Coordinate with UK+ teams and EU counterparts on content, communication calendars, and best practices.
* Plan and manage local asset production (photography, video, graphics), including rights, contracts, and approval processes.
* Create and optimize B2C & B2B email campaigns using A/B testing, automation, segmentation, and personalization.
* Publish local and global blogs, and implement digital marketing strategies including paid search, SEO, and social media.
* Develop and schedule EU and local B2B articles on trekbikes.com/b2b.
* Distribute content and updates via internal platforms like Teams, email, and SharePoint.
* Proofread and translate content, managing workflows to meet deadlines and budgets.
Qualifications
* At least 4 years’ experience in marketing communications; media or retail experience advantageous.
* Fluent in Polish and English, with strong written and verbal skills.
* Experience with email marketing systems.
* Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage time effectively.
* Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
* Commercial judgment and initiative.
* Creative, analytical, and innovative thinking.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Ads, and Meta platforms.
* Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently on projects.
* Strong copywriting skills.
* Experience with digital marketing data/insights is a plus.
* Confident in reporting to senior stakeholders.
* Knowledge of Trek products and cycling industry or willingness to learn.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
