Job Overview:
WS Transportation is seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard & Truck Wash Operative to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our fleet, ensuring all vehicles are cleaned and ready for operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Thoroughly wash and clean trucks, trailers, and other company vehicles.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard environment.
* Safely and efficiently use cleaning equipment and products.
* Conduct visual inspections for vehicle damage and report issues appropriately.
* Follow all health and safety protocols.
* Assist with general yard duties as needed.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
* HGV licence is highly advantageous.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic.
* Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
