We are recruiting for a Screening andGraderManger for the Diabetic Eye ScreeningProgramme whoshare s our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The chosen candidate will work within the Herts and West Essex Diabetic Eye Screening Programme to deliver diabetic eye screening for patients in the Herts and West Essex area to the highest standards of quality and care.
This is an opportunity for an experienced and skilled screener/grader to work within the East & North Hertfordshire retinal screening team, over seeing the delivery of a high-quality comprehensive screening service to patients with diabetes in the area.

Responsibilities
* The post holder will lead the management of the referral outcome grading queues, ensuring patients are referred in line with national policy and within the required timeframes, escalating more complex cases to the attention of the clinical lead promptly.
* You will conduct and oversee the retinal screening OCT clinics taking high quality OCT images.
* The successful candidate will train and support senior screener/graders to ensure they reach and retain the required competencies of a referral outcome grader.
* You will also be required to assist the programme manager as required including the need to deputise in their absence.
