Location: Middlesbrough College Main Campus, TS2 1AD
Department: Visual Performing Arts
Reporting to: Beverley Williamson
Hourly Rate: £15.34 - £34.15 (inclusive of Holiday Pay)
Pension: Teachers Pension Scheme
What You’ll Be Doing
* Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of all students.
* Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and developmentally appropriate for the maturity and interests of all students.
* Employ a variety of teaching techniques and resources consistent with best practices, the content area, space constraints, and the needs of individuals or student groups.
* Plan and deliver a suitable Assessment Programme ensuring marked work meets Middlesbrough College Gold Standards.
* Implement Middlesbrough College’s Core Values through the Gold Standard of Teaching and Learning.
* Utilise diagnostic assessment tools to identify learning strengths and needs of every student, for intervention and/or acceleration toward academic achievement.
What We’re Looking For
* Degree level or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
* Music qualification grade 5 or above within a relevant instrument to be taught (Drumming).
* Qualified teacher status or willing to work towards achieving qualified status.
* Personal commitment to keeping professional knowledge up to date and improving capabilities.
* GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C/Level 4 or above, or equivalent.
