Brightwork's client is currently recruiting an Operational Trainer who will be responsible for supporting the learning and development of site personnel by facilitating mandatory and ad hoc training. You will identify and assess training needs for new and existing employees while developing and delivering training to meet those needs.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver all job-specific and key skills training.
2. Ensure completion of Job Specific SOPs.
3. Deliver refresher training and updates.
4. Conduct ad hoc training as required.
5. Provide operational support during busy periods as part of ad hoc duties.
6. Update and maintain training matrices.
7. Organize and facilitate training events, including location logistics and equipment setup.
8. Provide timely reports on ongoing projects.
Experience
1. Proven experience in a Trainer/L&D role, ideally within a production environment.
2. Operational experience.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to delegate effectively.
4. Strong planning and organizational skills, demonstrating flexibility to adapt to changing business demands.
5. Proactive, dynamic, and motivational, with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, pressurized environment.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
7. Flexible approach to working hours.
8. High standard of English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
