Job Description
The Financial Analyst (Hybrid) duties will include:
3. Complete core month-end tasks: accruals, prepayments, journal entries, and revenue recognition.
4. Prepare management accounts and conduct variance analysis with clear commentary.
5. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain data integrity.
6. Manage invoicing processes and ensure accurate financial documentation.
7. Assist with audit queries and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
8. Analyse large datasets using advanced Excel skills to deliver accurate insights.
9. Identify process improvements to streamline reporting and reduce manual effort.
10. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate data and alignment on reporting.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Financial Analyst (Hybrid) should have:
11. Part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA/CIMA.
12. Strong understanding of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
13. Proven experience in month-end processes (accruals, prepayments, journals, revenue recognition).
14. Advanced Excel skills and ability to handle large datasets.
15. High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders.
